Angeline (Pileggi) Pusateri

age 89, of Hometown, Illinois, died peacefully on Friday, Dec. 11, 2015, in Janesville, Wisconsin. She was born in Monessen, Pennsylvania, and raised in Chicago, Illinois. Angie is the daughter of the late Francesca (Persico) Pileggi and the late Antonio Pileggi. She attended Our Lady of Pompeii and Cosmetology School. She was married to the late Salvatore, “Sam” Pusateri in 1957 and together devotedly raised their son, Dean. Angie was employed as a hairdresser throughout her life. She loved her grandchildren, cooking, entertaining, bowling, cards, games, movies, bingo, and traveling. Angie had a “heart of gold” and was always helping others. Her smile, sense of humor, and laughter was contagious and brightened the day. Her loving family and friends are better for having had her in their lives over the years.
Angie is survived and sadly missed by her son Dean Pusateri of Milton, Wisconsin, her daughter-in-law, Char(Jacobs) Pusateri, three grandsons: Nico, Noah, and Mason Pusateri, her sister, Rose (Pileggi) Battaglia, her dear friend Patricia DiBenedetto, as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents: Francesca (Persico) Pileggi and Antonio Pileggi, her husband: Salvatore “Sam” Pusateri, her brothers: James Pileggi and Frank Pileggi, and her sisters Mary(Pileggi) Airdo, and Jennie(Pileggi)(Campagna) Bajerski.
Funeral services and visitation will be held at 10:00am, on Tuesday, December 29, 2015, at OUR LADY OF LORETTO CHURCH, 8925 S. Kostner Ave., Hometown, IL 60456, with church service to follow the visitation at 11:00am. The interment at St. Mary Cemetery will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Angeline Pusateri Memorial Fund, 2689 Harpers Ct, Milton WI 53563.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the DiBenedetto family, Murphy family, and Ron Stackowski for all they have done during her illness, as well as to the staff at Our House Memory Care and Mercy Hospice for their loving care.
